100% domestically grown soy wax. No paraffin, no petroleum byproducts, no blended waxes. We're strict about this. Soy burns cleaner, longer, and is biodegradable. It's not just better for your home. It's better full stop.
Yes. Every fragrance oil we use is phthalate-free and never tested on animals. We don't use synthetic musks, carcinogens, or any of the ingredients that show up on the standard restricted lists. Clean fragrance, always.
Our standard candles burn for 40–50 hours when cared for properly. The key: let the wax melt all the way to the edge on the first burn, trim your wick to 1/4" before each use, and keep burn sessions to 4 hours max.
Hand-poured in Connecticut in small batches. Nothing is outsourced. Every candle is made and inspected in-house. That's not a marketing line; it's just how we operate.
A few things that actually matter:
First burn: Let the wax melt all the way to the edges before blowing it out. This prevents tunneling and sets you up for an even burn every time after that.
Wick trimming: Trim to 1/4" before every burn. A long wick produces a bigger flame, more soot, and a faster melt. None of which are good. A simple wick trimmer makes this easy.
Burn time: Four hours max per session. Stop when about 1/4" of wax remains at the bottom.
Storage: Keep the lid on when not in use and store away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance.
Our candles use phthalate-free fragrance oils, which are safer than many conventional candles. That said, we always recommend burning candles in well-ventilated spaces and keeping them out of reach of pets and children. Some essential oils and fragrance compounds can be irritating to animals in high concentrations. If you have concerns specific to your pet, your vet is the best resource.
Yes, and we'd encourage it. Once the candle is finished, place the jar in the freezer for about an hour. The remaining wax will contract and pop right out. Wash with warm soapy water, and you've got a clean jar that works as a planter, a pen holder, a catch-all, or whatever else fits your space.

Most orders ship within 2–3 business days. Standard shipping typically takes 5–7 business days after that. If you need it faster, reach out and we'll do what we can.
